Getting started

Students spent the week before Christmas break researching alternative energy, creating a presentation, responding to classmates presentations and then creating a motivational poster on one of the alternative energies. We have been using our Learning Management System (Moodle) to house our work, unfortunately we do not have it open to guests. Please enjoy a preview below and know that more will be coming soon.

Another award to help fund out Lobby for Change Project.

BP Awards Night

In August both Ms. Sandi Busch & Mrs. Jen Clevette spent in a week in Kananaskis with BP Energy and A+ for Education. The week was spent learning about alternative energy and developing project ideas. The highlight of the week was the gala night where we received our awards.

What We Have Learned

In the last six weeks we have learned about the federal government. We have learned what the governments job is, how they do it, the three branches of government, and how everything is connected. The best part was using the laptops because it"s easier than the textbooks and more fun.

Cheque Presentation From BP Energy

BP energy came out to HRS to present a $10,000 cheque. BP brought out bubble pens for elementary students. After the cheque presentation 9C got pizza.
